HR Manager - Manufacturing & Automation Business
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals in the manufacturing and automation industry.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of employees at all levels.
- Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive and compliant work environment.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Monitor employee performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide guidance on training and development needs.
- Design and implement employee training programs to enhance skills, safety, and productivity in the manufacturing and automation processes.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Manage HR metrics, including turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee engagement, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Support and guide managers and supervisors on people management and HR-related matters to ensure effective team performance.
- Oversee health, safety, and wellness programs to ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all employees.
- Handle employee exits, including conducting exit interviews, managing resignations, and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance, and other essential documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of automation systems for HR functions, improving efficiency and data accuracy.
- Manage HR budget and resource allocation for training, recruitment, and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing or automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, particularly within industrial and technical environments.
- Proven experience in managing recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HR software and systems, including HRIS and payroll systems.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
