Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute MRP to meet production schedules and minimize material shortages.
- Analyze and forecast demand based on production plans and customer orders.
- Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce excess inventory.
- Implement strategies for inventory control and reduction, including Just-In-Time (JIT) and Kanban systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Negotiate delivery schedules and quantities to align with production needs.
- Create and manage purchase orders for materials and ensure accurate and timely receipt.
- Track and expedite orders as necessary to maintain production flow.
- Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Address and resolve material shortages or discrepancies impacting production.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data for materials, suppliers, and inventory within the ERP system.
- Validate and update data regularly to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify data inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate master data across systems.
- Support ERP system upgrades and enhancements related to material and inventory data.
- Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, material usage, and supply chain performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or master data management.
- Experience with SAP systems and MRP tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Access).
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
