The National Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales operations of power tools / Agricultural tools across Thailand, driving revenue, market share growth, and business development.
This role involves managing the sales team, executing effective sales strategies, building relationships with key distributors and customers, and ensuring the company's product offerings are competitive in the local market.
Role and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy for the power tools division in Thailand.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
- Set sales targets for the team, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure product promotions and campaigns resonate with the local market.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop a skilled and motivated sales team.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high team performance.
- Establish clear performance expectations and KPIs, monitoring progress regularly.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and customer-centric sales culture.
Market Expansion & Business Development
- Identify opportunities for new business and expand the company's market presence within Thailand.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers & dealers.
- Oversee product launches and ensure successful market entry strategies.
- Understand and address customer feedback to enhance product offerings and support future product development.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term customer loyalty.
- Addressing customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels through excellent service.
- Conduct regular market visits to maintain close contact with customers and partners.
- Sales Reporting
- Manage sales forecasts, budgeting, and resource allocation for the Thai market.
- Monitor and report on sales performance to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records and track sales activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, pricing strategies, and local regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with product development, logistics, and finance teams to ensure product availability and smooth operations.
- Share insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies with the broader business.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments to achieve business goals.
Requirement
- We are looking for a Sales Manager with at least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in agricultural tools or power tools.
- Experience in traditional trade is an advantage.
- Strong business communication skills are required.
