Job Description
- Oversee all procurement processes, including fabrics, office supplies, tools, and other materials used in production.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality products at reasonable prices.
- Select quality vendors and contractors capable of delivering products on time.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of vendors and contractors.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and contractors.
- Manage procurement budgets in alignment with the planned goals, ensuring cost reduction efficiently.
- Review and approve purchase orders to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Oversee the storage and rotation of materials and equipment to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
- Prepare reports and maintain records of all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as Production, Accounting, and others, to ensure a smooth procurement process.
- Monitor and follow up on the status of purchases and deliveries to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure that all procurement activities meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain safety and adhere to organizational policies for inventory management.
- Work closely with the Production and Design teams to plan production in line with sales targets and market demand.
- Develop production schedules and prioritize tasks to align with new product launch plans.
- Assess raw material requirements for each production cycle and plan procurement accordingly.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Analyse production-related issues and collaborate with teams to find solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related fields such as Business Management, Logistics, or Procurement
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement within manufacturing or retail industries, particularly in the apparel business.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities with vendors and contractors.
- Management Skills: Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and online procurement systems.
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills in both Thai and English.
