Product Manager - Asia Pacific (Resin & additive for Flexible packaging)
Responsibilities:
- Work with all Strategic Business Managers, Market Development Managers, Business Development Director to support business needs, harmonization of portfolio if necessary to best use of resources.
- Develop a comprehensive portfolio strategy in line with each segment's strategic plan.
- To be the interface between all SBM, Technical service, R&D, Sales and Manufacturing in portfolio optimization, asset efficiency and profit optimization.
- Direct responsible for flexible packaging portfolio marketing.
- Define cross-segment marketing tools for product portfolio, to ensure one face / one voice to market.
- Support additive masterbatches product launch and white masterbatches product positioning.
- Support product training for sales and technical service organization by ensuring all tools and performance data are in place.
- Regular contact with industry, including but not restricted to additive suppliers, joint customer visits with BD and sales, open innovation platform, etc to keep up with additivation technologies and strengthen additive knowledge in the organization.
- Recommend corrective actions cross-functionally when needed.
Qualification:
- Bachelor or Higher Degree in Polymer, Chemistry, Marketing, or other related fields.
- 8 - 10 years' experience in product management, technical marketing in plastics industry with knowledge in plastic additives, compounding and/or resin & additive production and if possible flexible films process.
- Technical skills on technology savvy in plastic additives
- Working experience in APEC role is preferable.
- Good English communication skills with Thai native speaker.
- The position will be based in SEA and will approximately 20%-30% time traveling in the region.
- Able to work in Rayong province.
