• Quickly solving production problems by using basic principles, creating a plan, and working with team members and support staff at the contract manufacturer (CM).
• Changing a test system to make measurements more consistent.
• Organizing factory activities by regularly checking yield data and test system performance.
• Reviewing supplier production processes to find and fix risks.
• Giving suppliers feedback on how they can improve and visiting them to see the changes.
• Planning and making improvements on the production line to increase capacity where it's limited.
• Keeping track of cycle times and helping with manufacturing cost negotiations.
• Working with the CM team to reduce waste on the production line by improving movements, layout, or automation.
