Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with local authorities, regulatory bodies, contractors, and clients to align project goals with stakeholder expectations.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Chinese Project Manager to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Oversee external project progress, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure project milestones are met with high quality standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on bridge construction, dredging, and marine infrastructure, ensuring all work complies with engineering and environmental regulations.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential project risks related to construction challenges and stakeholder concerns.
  • Track financial and operational performance to keep the project within budget and on schedule.
  • Lead the transition from construction to operational readiness, ensuring systems are in place for smooth post-inauguration operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to local and international construction and environmental regulations, particularly for marine and bridge infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on bridge construction and marine infrastructure.
  • Position Experience: Must have held a Project Engineer position in previous roles.
  • Licensing: Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) License and a Pro License.
  • Language: Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required. Fluency in English is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of bridge construction, marine engineering, dredging operations, and port infrastructure.
  • Leadership & Coordination: Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate across diverse, international teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively address project risks.
