Responsibilities:
- Guarantee compliance with company procedure (BOS, PLUS and POS, SOX) for all Team / Group Members.
- Control and approvals of all programs purchasing activities and decisions in line with customer demands and commodity strategies starting from phase 0 and over lifetime.
- Responsibilities for achieving the country Purchasing goal and action plans. Meet or exceed profit plan goals: Cost saving, economics, quality, supplier's rationalization, LCC% content and other agreed objectives.
- Lead, motivate, support and develop employees in the purchasing organization.
- Provide financial expertise/ support in terms of production specifications, tooling + investments budgets, customer conditions, cost tracking, etc. so that program targets and purchasing goals are met.
- Guarantee financial control over the programs from phase 0 till complete and over lifetime.
- Coordinate the supply chain requirements e.g. when/ how to source, early sourcing, cross program supplier selection etc.
- Guarantee integration and communication with Supplier Development teams.
- Ensure smooth project launches by controlling the acquisition, sourcing on time, in line with cost book and MoB target, maintaining purchasing results until SOP.
- Support of proper make or buy decisions.
- Guarantee compliance with BOS, PLUS and POS procedures.
- Improvement of program-profitability as well as of all purchasing activities for the purpose of continuous improvement through global sourcing, long/ life-time reduction etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years as a Purchasing with Automotive business or commodity related industry.
- Well understanding of purchasing tools and practices, operational and strategic involvement.
- Strong knowledge of controlling and cost analysis.
- High leadership skill, good personality, creative problem solving skill and good team player.
- Positive thinking, good attitude and willing to handle situation with open mind.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Thai.
- Computer literary, relevance SAP program.
