R&D Lead

Position: Cosmetic Research and Development Lead
Primary Responsibilities:

1. Research and Development of New Products:
   • Study customer needs, market trends, and new technologies.
   • Innovate and develop new product formulas to meet customer demands.
   • Test and analyze product performance.
   • Coordinate with production teams to prepare for manufacturing.
2. Improvement of Existing Products:
   • Analyze production costs and find ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
   • Learn and adapt to existing product manufacturing processes.
   • Develop new formulas to replace old ones.
   • Test and analyze product performance.
   • Work with production teams to modify manufacturing processes.
3. Cost Control:
   • Analyze raw material costs and find quality sources at reasonable prices.
   • Recommend ways to reduce production costs without affecting quality.
   • Control expenses related to R&D activities.
4. Raw Material Exploration:
   • Study and source high-quality raw materials.
   • Test and analyze the properties of raw materials.
   • Select suitable raw materials for product development.
5. Data Management:
   • Record details about raw materials, test results, product formulas, and related information.
   • Summarize research and development results.
6. Quality Assurance and Analysis:
   • Ensure product quality complies with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA).
   • Analyze the physical, chemical, and biological properties of products.
   • Test product stability.
7. R&D for OEM Products:
   • Study client needs.
   • Develop and innovate new formulas for OEM products.
   • Test and analyze product performance.
   • Obtain regulatory approval if necessary.
8. Product Design and Testing:
   • Design products to meet customer requirements.
   • Innovate new manufacturing methods.
   • Test product characteristics.
9. Consultation and Problem-Solving:
   • Provide advice and recommendations on product formula development.
   • Collaborate to solve problems encountered during formula development.
10. Strategic Planning for New Product Launches:
    • Research market and competitor data.
    • Develop strategic plans for new product launches.
    • Coordinate with the marketing department.
11. Documentation:
    • Prepare documentation related to formulas, product details, and technical information.
    • Ensure documentation complies with GMP and ISO standards.
12. Miscellaneous Tasks:
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Age: 35-40 years
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related fields.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in R&D.
• Skills: Responsibility, punctuality, and willingness to travel as needed.
• Preferred: Experience with ISO/GMP systems.
• Attributes: Enthusiasm for creative and innovative work.
