Job Overview:
The Regional General Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the company's business in the designated Southeast Asia region. This role will drive growth, profitability, and market share by leveraging business acumen, strategic planning, and exceptional leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Budget Development: Create and implement annual budgets in alignment with executive directives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing ROI.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • New Projects/Processes: Oversee manufacturing process development, product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction.
  • Quality Systems: Ensure the implementation of quality assurance systems, meeting international standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
  • Customer Service & Productivity: Optimize logistics, labor productivity, and cost management while ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Purchasing: Monitor purchasing indicators for products in production and development.
  • R&D: Lead R&D initiatives to develop new products and technologies meeting customer needs and market trends.
  • General Management: Build and lead a high-performing regional team, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, managing labor relations, and overseeing regional assets.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the automotive or related industries, with at least 8 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record in driving business growth and profitability in a competitive environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Expertise in manufacturing, supply chain management, and quality systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of regional market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English.
