Sales Executive - Hair Care Business (Traditional Trade)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell hair care products within the traditional trade sector (e.g., local distributors, retail outlets, small stores).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and wholesalers to maximize sales opportunities and achieve targets.
- Conduct regular visits to customer locations to promote products, assess customer needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by effectively managing sales activities and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and discounts to secure deals while ensuring profitability.
- Provide product training and education to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and usage of the hair care products.
- Collect customer feedback and relay it to the product development and marketing teams to help improve product offerings.
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with distributors to ensure timely product availability.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager, tracking performance, achievements, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
- Participate in promotional campaigns and marketing activities to increase brand visibility and drive sales in the traditional trade sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beauty or hair care industry.
- Proven experience in traditional trade sales and managing relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the hair care industry and market trends is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.
