Job Requirements:

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Asset Liability Management (ALM) strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Exhibit strong stakeholder management skills, working collaboratively with various departments such as Operations, Risk, and Finance.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the Bank of Thailand (BOT).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Basel III and local banking regulations.
  • Strategically plan and execute asset allocations and curve positioning for the Global Markets Bangkok branch.
  • Handle daily money market operations.
  • Offer internal support by providing quotes for money market and FX transactions.
  • Deliver market commentaries and summaries for Management.
  • Proactively seek methods to reduce funding costs for the branch.
  • Assist in managing the branch's liquidity to ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that the branch's funding requirements are met and sufficient for business operations.
  • Manage FTP positions and actively identify and exploit gapping opportunities.
  • Aid in managing investment portfolios and their hedges to maximize returns.
  • Assess and manage NPAP to identify and introduce new Treasury solutions/products, expanding the product suite for clients.
  • Assist in approving KYC/CDD for counterparties/NBFI clients of Global Markets Bangkok, including name screenings, account setups in core banking systems, and C2C tagging.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable about BOT regulations pertinent to Treasury activities.
  • At least 10 years of experience in trading or dealing with money market products, particularly interbank placements, government securities, and swaps.
