Job Title: Senior Manager, Corporate Legal - Financial Services

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate legal affairs and coordinating with internal and external departments. Familiarity with dealing with the SEC (The Securities and Exchange Commission) and proficiency in both English and Thai languages are essential for this role.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Senior Manager, Corporate Legal will be responsible for managing the company's corporate legal functions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing strategic legal advice, managing legal risks, and facilitating effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Legal Oversight:
- Oversee all corporate legal matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management on strategic initiatives and business transactions.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal departments, including finance, compliance, and risk management, to ensure alignment on legal matters.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and advisors as necessary to address complex legal issues.
SEC Compliance:
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulations set forth by the SEC and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Liaise with the SEC as needed and represent the company's interests in regulatory matters.
Language Proficiency:
- Demonstrate fluency in both English and Thai languages, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts and requirements in both languages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as the SEC and Bank of Thailand (BOT).
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and legal risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in both English and Thai languages.
