Senior Sales Executive - Cosmetic Ingredient Industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the cosmetic ingredient industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities by targeting cosmetic manufacturers, R&D teams, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, ensuring they understand product benefits and applications.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers while maintaining profitability and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, R&D, and supply chain, to align on product offerings and customer needs.
  • Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company and expand the customer base.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Stay updated on cosmetic ingredient innovations and regulatory requirements to provide expert guidance to clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the cosmetic ingredient or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation processes and ingredient functionalities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in cosmetic science or formulation.
