Responsibilities:
- Monitor the adherence to safety and environmental norms.
- Follow the plan provided by the Logistics team.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards by following the systems and rules set by management.
- Train new team members and improve their skills.
- Report shift performance to the Manager based on Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale parameters.
- Ensure timely updates of daily check sheets, AM/hourly sheets, and B/D slips.
- Have the authority to stop the production line if quality parameters are not met or if there are abnormal conditions with the machinery.
- Ensure the setup of all machines as per the planning team's instructions.
- Authorized to handle material declaration and internal transfers in the AF & AX system.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Ensure that production objectives (time, quality, quantity) are met efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, techniques, and instruments, maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Work as the Disc Shop Team Leader to achieve productivity targets, minimize internal/external complaints, and reduce PPM (Parts Per Million).
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of experience.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering with 3-6 years of experience.
- Shift Work: Must be able to work night shifts.
- Language: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
