Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design:
- Understand and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Design and create test cases and scripts to address business and technical use cases
Test Execution:
- Conduct manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using tracking tools like JIRA or others.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of the software.
- Participate in requirement discussions, code reviews, and provide input on software design.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Document and report test results and provide recommendations and assessments of software quality.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degrees in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- 3 years in Software Tester role.
- Knowledge of banking products and Banking Industry and Finance
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role in software development.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Postman) and bug tracking systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Proven experience in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases, including test plans and strategies.
- Ability to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
