Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and inspire a diverse team of logistics professionals, including warehouse staff, drivers, and customer service representatives. Foster a collaborative environment and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure team success.Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day logistics operations such as loading, unloading, sorting, and dispatching shipments. Ensure all processes are executed with strict adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and service level agreements (SLAs).Customer Engagement:
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints swiftly, ensuring top-tier satisfaction. Work closely with customer service teams to elevate the client experience and foster long-term relationships.Performance Optimization:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timelines, inventory accuracy, and operational costs. Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements.Facility & Equipment Oversight:
Manage the upkeep of station facilities and equipment. Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly and address any repair or upgrade needs promptly.Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and station activities. Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, outlining achievements and challenges.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience:
3-5 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 1-2 years in a team leadership role. Knowledge of the local logistics landscape is a plus.Skills:
Proven leadership and team management skills, excellent organizational and planning abilities. Solid understanding of international logistics and supply chain management. Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and the local language (written and verbal).
