Job Description:

  • Formulate a multi-year sourcing strategy that projects costs and potential savings, taking into account identified opportunities, projected demand, and the timing of contract renewals.
  • Discover strategic sourcing prospects for cost reduction and margin enhancement; effectively communicate, educate, and secure buy-in for the sourcing methodology and process from subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
  • Direct sourcing initiatives to procure goods and services at the best possible cost, while ensuring they meet quality, performance, service, and availability standards, and achieve or surpass established savings, margin improvement, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Oversee sourcing agreements and contracts to ensure the realization of commercial and cost-saving benefits at the P&L level.
  • Cultivate key supplier relationships by monitoring and evaluating performance in line with contract terms, service level agreements, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the accurate setup and regular review of product categories and item classifications in the ERP system.
  • Achieve exceptional customer service standards.
  • Develop and enforce strategic sourcing policies and procedures, address existing gaps, and ensure full compliance.
  • Promote a culture that values and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally.
  • Strengthen and develop the skills and capabilities of your team.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering and related field.
  • Proven experience in the strategic sourcing of MRO products.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of managing complex supply chains and cost models.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills across all levels of management.
  • Skilled in managing ambiguity and adept at problem-solving.
  • Capable of influencing multiple teams and fostering effective internal business partnerships.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and working efficiently under deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead teams and fulfill functional responsibilities.
