Responsibilities:
Provide technical service support to both direct accounts and channel partners in collaboration with the local sales team, involving regional travel and comprehensive reporting.
Demonstrate a proficient ability to conceptualize ideas and formulate project protocols.
Assist in defining customer technical service request (TSR) requirements, execute TSR projects, and effectively communicate the value proposition of customer TSR work to clients.
Collaborate with the global application R&D team to contribute to new product development initiatives.
Preferred experience in the paint industry or related segments.
Conduct application and product training sessions for customers and distributors in partnership with regional sales and marketing teams.
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop effective sales tools, including sell sheets, brochures, and presentations.
Report on technical projects in the English language to regional management.
Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in formulating paints and applying additives in architecture coatings, with a preference for experience in wood coatings and metal coatings.
Demonstrated track record of providing technical service and development support to direct accounts and distribution clients active in the water-based industrial coatings industry.
In-depth understanding of the coatings business in Southeast Asia (SEA) with the ability to translate customer and market needs into appropriate application and positioning of commercial additives, as well as new products.
Proven ability to develop value propositions and articulate the monetary value of existing and new additives in customer applications.
Collaborate effectively with sales teams in developing new accounts and increasing market share, with a track record of successful outcomes.
